Millie Walton

is a mother, writer and curator based in Somerset, UK. She is interested in writing that unsettles and questions its own position, making and authorship. To this end, she has created and exhibited ‘moveable poems’ that invite audiences to tear off and rearrange the words, and regularly leads workshops that use collage as a method for experimentation and play. Her short fiction and poetry have appeared in publications such as Studies in the Maternal, Motherlore, the Mechanics’ Institute Review and Soft Punk. Millie is also the founder of Babe Station, an artist-led organisation that explores the relationship between making art and the maternal experience through live events, performances and exhibitions.
