These Are All the Same Thing and Happening at the Same Time

I've been abroad of my body,

crackled in spaces I thought not my own,

to understand electrons, airborne, us borne;

testing bridges as they say; they say

a burned bridge is burned at both ends

but there’s still down, the possibility of up,

of missiling into what seems like nothing.

These are all the same thing

and happening at the same time.

Buddhism, science, pretty thoughts, nothing;

no rifts and right now we’re all connected;

patchwork, bridgework, we’re all connected;

and here’s the bad news:

that means there’s no-one else.
